It has not been an easy step for you to come to counseling. It may take months, or even years, to get up the courage to call for an appointment. For many, coming to counseling can feel both frightening and yet a relief. I do not have a waiting list, and can get you in to see me fairly quickly. My unique style is to educate, motivate and inspire you, providing a solid foundation for a healthy life. I am a down to earth, "regular" person with a style that puts most people at ease. I also now offer hourly supervisory services to masters level students in a social work or mental health counseling programs.
​Nantucket Family Counseling offers cognitive behavioral therapy designed to establish healthy person-centered relationships and create a therapeutic environment that is conducive to gaining clarity and insight. Understanding old patterns of thinking will allow to consider new ways. You will enter as a stranger and leave as a friend.
