I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. I also use Written Exposure Therapy for trauma symptoms. This brief therapy is effective in decreasing responses from trauma.

Online Written Exposure Therapy Group

This group is a an online closed trauma processing group that runs for a total of 7 consecutive daily, with pre-group individual 45 minute session to complete initial assessment . Members must meet criteria appropriate for group (PTSD or Acute Stress Response criteria required specific to a traumatic event). Members must adhere to confidentiality agreement, complete an initial hour assessment session before group treatment. The group consists of 7 - 40 minute sessions. Must have stable internet connectivity/video/microphone and paper/writing tool to successfully complete treatment.
