I love to work with anyone who is struggling with Life! Anxiety, depression, family problems, grief, job stress, alcohol abuse. There will not be immediate fixes but I can help clients take a look at what is really going on - underlying issues - and come up with a plan to improve their outlook.
I have worked in an EAP (Employee Assistance Program) setting for over 30 years so my approach to counseling is, at least initially, short-term and solution-focused, using cognitive -behavioral therapy. I want to hear your story and help you define your needs and goals.
I am semi-retired but still enjoy seeing clients. My schedule is very flexible.
I have a lot of life experience as well as 30+ years of clinical experience. I am a recovering alcoholic and I am told that one of my best features is that I am not judgmental. I will listen to you.
