**NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS AT THIS TIME** As a play therapist, I believe that play can be used to help families and children find solutions. Play is our first language. Play can build trust, regulate emotions, and help us express thoughts and feelings that might otherwise remain hidden. And as a marital and family therapist, I believe that play therapy works best when parents/caregivers and families are actively involved in the treatment process. I want to work with your child and family to help you reconnect. I focus on how human potential can be achieved through family relationships, and enhanced through connections with others.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidenced-based trauma treatment modality and can be used in conjunction with play therapy with children or with adults.
In addition to working with children and their families, I work with a variety of adults and couples. I especially enjoy working with adults resolve any past trauma they may have experienced as a child or working with parents determining how to best meet the needs of their child.
