Whether struggling with new or old challenges, asking for help can be frightening. I am a helper by nature and will do my best to build a healthy relationship where you feel safe and supported. Together we will problem solve, learn coping skills, process past trauma, and build resilience. I believe each client is unique, and starting where they are is the most helpful. During a therapy session, I may utilize techniques from CBT, DBT, and EMDR therapy depending on the client's needs. My focus is on allowing a space where clients feel safe and supported.
If you find that you are struggling with anxiety, depression, or just feel stuck due to past wounds, I am here to help. My focus is on understanding your perspective, collaboratively setting goals, and tailoring interventions specific to your needs. My work experience includes working in foster care, academic settings, and outpatient therapy.
