I believe that we thrive when we have balance and harmony in life, however, life is not always easy and we may struggle at times to achieve balance. When we get "stuck" or face difficult challenges, we will identify which areas of life need adjusting or strengthening. Whether it is physical, emotional, spiritual or mental unbalance, we can positively impact our lives by starting to work in one area, and, since they are all connected, the rest will follow. The mind-body connection is undeniable, research and science favor an integrated approach to behavioral health and that's my choice of intervention, a holistic approach.
More than 90% of my clients improve within the first 3 sessions. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, survivors of sexual, spiritual and emotional abuse. A particular focus of treatment is helping individuals in the LGBTQ+ community affected by religious systems. For your convenience, I am exclusively VIRTUAL.
I am culturally competent, I have lived overseas where I immersed myself in different cultural experiences. I have good knowledge of core beliefs and practices of major religions, Muslims, Hindu, Christian, Jewish, Taoist, Buddhist, etc. I am also LGBTQ affirming and I am fluent in Spanish language and culture.
