Personal growth work is a balance between exploring challenges and making concrete positive changes. Therapy needs to be a place where clients experience a sense of safety and agency. Each of us already comes with a lot of knowledge and experience. As a professional I aim to bring my skills, life, and therapy experience to meet clients where they are in the moment. Good therapy involves both listening to what each client needs and adapting my approach to help guide them and help each individual to overcome their unique challenges and move towards a healthier life. I am also a holistic practitioner.
Although I specialize in working with folks challenged by stress and anxiety, I also work with issues of parenting, relationships, depression and early family of origin. I blend the use of more psychodynamic therapy where we talk about the roots, with here and now therapies that get clients changing thoughts and behaviors—making concrete life changes.
