I believe in the natural ability we all have to overcome adversity. My goal is to empower you in finding your own strengths and developing additional tools that allow you to experience fullfillment and success in your life that you are looking for. As a psychotherapist, I work with clients facing mental health, emotional, and quality of life challenges. I have a strong foundation in cognitive behavioral therapy, but also apply psycholanalytical for its strengths with your individualized needs. Depression, anxiety, serious mental illness, behavioral, coping, relational and personal growth are common areas, but not the only areas focused on.
My diverse experience in the mental health field allows a focus on your individual needs with evidence based treatment. I have a special focus in trauma recovery and am trained in EMDR and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I do extensive work with children and families as a Registered Play Therapist.
