About

My specialty is working with pre-teens, teens, and adults who have experienced trauma, especially sexual abuse and domestic violence. This includes not only people who have been direct victims of such trauma but also people who have experienced vicarious trauma such as first responders and healthcare providers. On a side note, I have significant experience working with people who have special needs including those on the autism spectrum.
You are worthy of a safe space in which to process your experiences. I will provide that space for you, compassionately listening to your concerns, calling attention to behavioral patterns, and reframing concerns to facilitate solution-building. Most importantly, I will be a soft place to rest as you travel your path to healing.
I believe clients intuitively know, better than anyone else, what is the best path for themselves. I believe humans are inherently good and that they naturally move towards their own best self once obstacles are moved out of the way. I will walk beside you, offering support, as you find the path that most honors you.
