It is my responsibility to provide an environment where my patients feel comfortable so that I can figure out what they need to get better and together we can understand what gets in the way. Patients who have been in therapy with other therapists often tell me that they find our work together to be more helpful. They find that I am a good listener and therefore I respond in ways that patients find meaningful.
I have been in practice for over 30 years treating adults of all ages. My patients experience depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, substance abuse, and loss. In addition to treating individuals, I currently run a high-functioning, older adult psychotherapy group.
I tailor my approach to meet the individual needs of my patients. I have also worked at New York Hospital in Westchester for over 25 years, gaining experience with many diagnostic problems. I currently evaluate patients for admission.
