Solution-focused psychotherapy means that I work with the past but don't linger there. Change happens in the present! We may decide on homework or record a guided meditation. We may use Accelerated Resolution Therapy, a new but evidence-based therapy that can change the impact of an emotional trauma, even one from childhood, in one session.
