The reality is that everyone should have someone to talk to. Unfortunately, a lot of people are struggling with pain, loss, anxiety, depression and relationship issues. I believe in the importance of genuine conversation and communication. I am of the mind that most of us just want to be heard, without judgement. My focus in therapy is trust, compassion and empathy. I am confident of my ability to "meet you where you are" and support my clients in making changes. After all, "...nothing changes, if NOTHING changes." I can help you to identify areas that may need adjustment and modification and encourage you to live your best life.
I use an eclectic approach to treatment in therapy. My passion is Mindfulness and encourage meditation/breathe for good mental and physical health. Additionally, my treatments may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and various Creative Modalities including drama, journaling and role play.
Many of us NEED therapy, but only those who WANT therapy, find success in treatment. I will help you to resolve conflicts, build better relationships and support you in decisions to live a happy, more meaningful life. Additionally, I am dedicated to engage my clients with supportive care for issues dealing with End of Life, Hospice and Palliative care.
