I have been in private practice serving individuals, couples and families for 31 years. I was trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy but I also utilize cognitive behavioral therapy in my practice. Since Covid I have been doing telehealth psychotherapy. I accept all major insurance plans. I also use a sliding scale for those individuals without insurance coverage. I worked in a mental health outpatient facility for 22 years with mental health professionals from other disciplines. I work with individuals from ages 12 and up. I have a flexible schedule with evening and weekend appointments available.
My specialty is treating people with depression, bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorders, marital/couple problems, work related stress and medical and family problems.
I am an active listener and participant in therapy. Together we can work on establishing achievable goals both long term and short term as well as developing coping skills to deal with chronic stress or acute situations.
