I offer therapy to relieve anxiety and depression and discover the underlying causes. I also specialize in trauma and PTSD. If you've seen other therapists without results, it may be because you've only participated in talk or cognitive therapy. I've found that deeply ingrained beliefs and coping mechanisms that develop when we're young are often responsible for dysfunction or repeated negative emotions later in life. I offer therapy to help you discover the reasons for triggers and patterns of behavior and how to change them. Unfortunately, I do not take insurance.
I use an integrative, individual approach to therapy to ensure that therapy is effective for you. I have a background working with foster/adopted children and military veterans and individuals with co-occurring disorders. I offer psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, EMDR, DBT, CBT, Narrative and trauma focused therapy to help you heal.
As a Christian, I am able to work with individuals on spiritual issues, growing faith and peace and provide counsel in accordance with Biblical principles. I also enjoy working with individuals who are not Christian and provide a judgment free relationship.
