So often people feel stuck or trapped by life circumstances, relationships, or their own thoughts and feelings. Therapy can offer healing, new coping skills, and greater self-awareness and strength. I want my clients to learn how to actually live life rather than just "white knuckling it." My approach is warm and responsive rather than a "blank slate." I provide a safe environment for individuals to process and integrate traumatic memories while learning ways to regulate emotions and trauma symptoms.
I enjoy helping clients explore relationship patterns and root causes of their anxiety. I work well with overwhelmed mothers who need space to process the challenges of motherhood and marriage. I enjoy helping clients understand their ADHD brain and learn new executive function skills. I provide coaching services to high school and college student athletes.
While I do not participate with insurance panels, I have made my practice insurance friendly, and will help you understand your out-of-network benefits and fill out appropriate forms.
