I have been in the field for over 11 years. I have worked with adolescents and their families. I have worked with adults. In addition, I specialize in working with substance abuse and mental health issues. The mental health issues I have worked with have varied from anger and anxiety to parenting and couples counseling.
When working with clients, I use Cognitive behavioral therapy, Client centered therapy, and Motivational interviewing. The client drives the therapy session while I help them navigate through their issues. My goal for the sessions are that a client feels better the end of the session than they did when they came in.
