I work with teenagers and adults who are struggling to create and find balance with all the demands and stressors of life. I am a fluent Spanish-speaker and Hispanic woman allowing me to be in a unique position to appreciate the subtle nuances of counseling in the Hispanic community. I am an EMDR trained therapist working with individuals with trauma, and I am passionate about working with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disorders including autism spectrum disorder.
I use a holistic approach that appreciates and values all the various parts of a person without fear of rejection. Being able to express who you are now is just as important as reaching your goals. I am trained in EMDR, DBT, CBT, and TBRI. Pulling from a variety of therapeutic approaches, we will figure out what works best for you to achieve your goals!
I want to partner with you and meet you wherever you are so we, together, are better able to set aside expectations and pre-conceived notions that can interfere with the counseling process.
