I work with individuals 1 to 3x/week, and couples, including cisgender, gender-diverse, and queer clients. Both childhood and current trauma, as well as world events, can trigger responses rooted in personal past experiences. Change cycles forward and backward and coping mechanisms need upgrades. The common concerns I address include, but are not limited to, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, dissociation, grief, aging, life transitions, academic difficulties, aging, divorce/separation, medical family therapy, cancer survivorship, trauma, learning from one’s past history, and feelings of isolation or aloneness. Speak freely.
I start with deconstructing problem saturated stories because we get more of what we talk about. It is exciting to change but once the feeling of project wears off it helps to have a therapist. Feeling the effects of break-through experiences of new possibilities is encouraging. I offer culturally responsive care to facilitate your freedom of speech.
