About
People tell me that I'm easy to talk to, and I never tire of hearing your story. I have a long, strong background working with people of all ages who are struggling with a range of issues. For over three decades (and across three states) I have helped people through difficult changes in health and/or life circumstances, as well as those battling depression, anxiety, and the gamut of psychological maladies. I am a Ph.D. Clinical Psychologist (meaning rigorous and advanced training), I enjoy working with a large variety of people, and I am always interested in getting to know them and their unique selves.
My specialty is working with people undergoing grief and loss as well as other challenging transitions. Examples include loss of a loved one, facing life-threatening or chronic illness, becoming a caregiver. My usual mode is to connect with you, build an understanding of who you are and what you are going through, and we then tackle the issues together.
I bring thoughtful clinical expertise and genuine interest in my clients to my practice of psychotherapy. Depending on your personal needs and objectives, I provide both short-term and longer-term therapy. Please call or email to see if we may fit and work well together.
