Hi! I am a clinical social worker (LCSW-C) based in Maryland. I am also licensed in DC. I received my MSW from Adelphi University in NY and I have been a practicing therapist for 10 years. I help adults navigate life transitions, complex trauma, and challenging relationships to foster self-understanding and develop new coping strategies for the challenges that life presents. I only provide individual therapy. In our first session, we will discuss background information, establish therapy goals, and work together to create a safe space for self-exploration.
As a first-generation American and an IPV survivor, my lived experiences have shaped my therapeutic approach. I possess an understanding of the challenges faced by individuals from immigrant backgrounds, including cultural complexities and the pressure to succeed.
I enjoy working with women who seek to understand and heal past wounds, improve their relationships, enhance overall well-being, and achieve personal growth. I'm most excited to work with clients who are open to exploring their inner strengths and resilience, as well as those who are committed to their own growth outside of the therapy session.
