Hello, my name is Nala Lovett and I am a Counseling Intern at Aya Behavioral Health, LLC, an outpatient mental health facility offering services to the Maryland and DC Metro areas. As a Counseling Intern, I support individuals and families on their journey of healing and wellness. As a Masters Mental Health Counseling Candidate, I research and create culturally-relevant interventions for African American children, women, and families centering healing. In addition, I host psycho-education workshops that focus on social justice and liberation for marginalized communities. I take a person-centered approach using Narrative Therapy.
The trials and struggles that life can throw at us can be completely overwhelming. It is difficult to work through it alone.
