I am Nadia Jenkins, MS, LPC, a licensed professional counselor in both states of Alabama and Florida, dedicated to helping clients navigate various mental health challenges. My approach to therapy is client-centered, focusing on building a supportive and empathetic relationship to facilitate personal growth and healing. I provide counseling in areas such as grief, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, providing a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions.
I typically work with clients via Telehealth and in-person. I am open to either depending on the client and location. I work with people who are ready to put in the work but not sure where to start. I try to create a safe, respectful, and expressive environment for all my clients. I hope that working with me will allow you to feel open, safe, and honest.
I became a counselor to help others. Life is hard to be alone. My hope is that I can assist someone in seeking the change they need to move forward in life. I encourage all my clients to set goals however, goal setting is left to the client so that he/ she is encouraged to participate in their own change and growth.
