Welcome to your safe space. I’m so happy you’re here! I founded Student of Life Counseling to create room for personalized therapeutic work - free from insurance timelines and protocols. In this judgement-free container, you're invited to express all the various versions of yourself (the loving, patient parts and the angry, critical parts too). Together, we'll cultivate a sense of curiosity and compassion towards all that comes up. While this requires a commitment of kindness and consistency to yourself, please keep in mind: You are worthy of all the time and space it takes to heal.
My path into counseling was shaped by a deep belief in our capacity for healing. In our work, we do not underestimate our ability to tend to our inner worlds. I began in community shelters working with individuals navigating trauma and instability, and later supported high-achieving professionals in Manhattan's Financial District facing burnout and anxiety.
My specialty is addressing the existential questions that surface when life demands more than it seems to give.
