Welcome! Thanks for checking me out. I offer a casual and safe virtual environment (virtual only at this time). I see individuals, couples and families. I believe in recovery oriented living and offer therapy to develop what this might look like for each individual, whether it's recovery from trauma, addiction or other mental illness. Often life can feel out of balance and my goal is to collaborate with clients in putting their life back in balance by addressing emotional, cognitive and behavioral imbalances.
I specialize in the treatment of trauma, addiction, mood disorders, and codependency. I am primarily an integrative therapist relying heavily on DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) skills. I also incorporate EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Therapy, Family and Couples Therapy, and more. I always offer individualized care.
I can understand how difficult it is to make a choice to work on yourself. For some of us, we are nervous and frightened of what we might uncover. In the first session, we will do a full assessment and identify the areas of focus. We will go from there. Groups
Recovery Group - starts August 2024
This is an all virtual group that will support individuals recovering from addiction, trauma, and mental illness. Individuals in group may have come from a higher level of care and use this group as a means to stay plugged in to their recovery. Others maybe just starting to recognize and realize where recovery might benefit them. There will be some vetting to make sure that the group will function efficiently and effectively. Focus will be on group cohesion, skills and processing when needed. This group is $60 per week out of pocket. Reach out if you are interested!
