I am a first gen, brown therapist. There are experiences and dynamics that don't require translating; persistent guilt, family and extended family expectations, the pressure to succeed, the desire to unmesh, spiritual dilemmas, microaggressions, sexual repression, the longing for warmth that wasn't always offered. I work with individuals and couples navigating identity, relationships, sexuality, and the tension of wanting to live authentically while still carrying the burden of family or societal approval.

I also believe therapy should be relationally inclusive — siblings, business partners, co-parents all deserve care, not just romantic partners. The right therapeutic container can provide a space for discovery, growth and healing.
