Hi, I’m Nancy Renee’ Smith (Renee’). I offer in-office sessions in Mineola, TX for children (as young as 3), teens, young adults, and parents, as well as virtual appointments for ages ten and up. I know the thought of counseling can feel overwhelming—even scary—especially when facing challenges like anxiety, depression, social media pressures, school stress, peer conflicts, and family changes. I’ve created a warm, welcoming, safe space where you can feel truly seen and heard, explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment, build practical coping skills, strengthen communication, develop confidence, resilience, and lasting hope.
With over 25 years of experience supporting children, I use a flexible, individualized approach that blends play therapy, engaging activities, solution-focused strategies, person-centered methods, and talk therapy. I create a nurturing, safe space where children can explore, express themselves, build skills, and grow with confidence, curiosity, & resilience.
Whether supporting children with behavioral challenges, ADHD, academic struggles, or emotional concerns, I strive to make counseling a positive, collaborative, & deeply empowering experience.
