myTherapyNYC is a NYC-based psychotherapy practice specializing in LGBTQ+ and gay affirmative therapy, couples and marriage counseling, and trauma and EMDR treatment. Our style is active and we will work collaboratively with you in order to create a safe, comfortable, and supportive atmosphere for us to explore past and present-day difficulties.
We run a Practice with therapists who are trained in relational therapies, specifically Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples. We enjoy helping people find new ways to communicate their deeper fears and needs in order to establish a more stable and secure connection with others.
