At Myrtle Street Counseling we recognize that everyone needs help from time to time, but the hardest step is asking for help. Now that you’re here, you are well on your way to living the life you want. We use systemic thinking and various therapies and techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Narrative therapy, Solution focused brief therapy, Hypnotherapy, and Mindfulness techniques to help our clients live better lives.
We encourage our clients to share their faith in therapy as this is a huge source of strength in the healing process. We like working collaboratively with our clients to identify the problem(s) causing emotional distress in their life and alternative ways to solve their problems. At MSC, we aim to provide exceptional care to professional, women of color.
We also enjoy working with older children (10+), individuals, couples, families and groups. Some issues we have worked with are anxiety, depression, life-transitions (e.g. school, relocations, physical illnesses), child adjustments, PTSD, and grief. We look forward to witnessing your transformation in therapy!
