I'm glad you're here! Finding a therapist can be a daunting experience and you have taken an important step. I am offering telehealth sessions and in person sessions. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Art Therapist, and EMDR practitioner. I work with adolescents, young adults and women of all ages. I am passionate, both personally and professionally, about loving oneself, ADHD, creative expression, identity work, mindfulness, perfectionism, and diversity and inclusivity work.
I have over 20 years of experience with art therapy, traditional talk therapy-influenced by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Animal Assisted Therapy and I am trained in and practice EMDR. A subspecialty of mine is working specifically with music students and the specific stressors associated with studying and performing music at a high level.
It is important in counseling that there is personal connection, a felt sense of compassion, acceptance, positive regard and at times even humor. I strive to understand, listen to and join my clients on their path towards their goals.
