Nobody wants to come to therapy and feel like they're talking to a robot. My approach comes from the understanding that each person is unique in their experiences and perspective. I tailor each session to you and draw from evidence-based practices, including Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy when developmentally appropriate. With me, therapy is adapted to fit you or your child's individual needs and goals.
Our therapeutic relationship is central to our sessions. I offer genuine concern, empathy, appropriate humor, and thoughtful reflection. Clients have described me as supportive, genuine, and comforting. Together, we will take a collaborative, strengths-based and values-focused approach, where we will work on growth and change together.
