Working with you, I will incorporate skills that I have gathered from my past experiences in public health, end-of-life care, gender-affirming care, and a Health at Every Size philosophy. With a holistic and anti-oppression approach, I strive to help my clients rediscover their mind-body connection and how it can inform their mental wellness. I draw from relational, psychodynamic, CBT, mindfulness, existential, and somatic therapies - creating a collaborative approach that will best utilize the strengths that you already have.
It's scary to reach out for help - especially if you haven't had the best experience in the past. Trust, collaboration, and a good dose of humor is key to a good therapeutic relationship.
