Life can be amazing, exciting, difficult, painful, isolating, and anywhere in between. My focus as a clinician is treating trauma and trauma-related disorders. This includes the depression and anxiety that often cooccurs with trauma.
I strongly believe that people can heal and can experience a life less defined by symptoms. Each person’s story is unique and I treat it as such. Trauma work takes as long as it takes. There is no set timeline. I would love to walk beside you through your story and support you in developing a life less defined by your trauma and more defined by your desires.
I’ve had experience with many different people and cultures from living on three different continents and in four different US states. I’ve met people from all walks of life and with differing backgrounds and stories. My experience as a crisis counselor with the Trevor Project has equipped me with the skills to work with those who have experienced trauma.
Trauma can wreak havoc on our abilities to feel safe within relationships. Sometimes going it alone seems like the safest option. Asking for help is a courageous step that deserves to be recognized.
