Hi there I’m Myesha! My name is Myesha Richardson, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adolescents and specialize in anxiety, depression, stress and anger management using CBT and Client Centered Therapy to help my clients make progress and feel better. My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with; I most frequently use CBT and Client Centered Therapy as both modalities help me, and client build a relationship and shared understanding of their current needs.
I have found that my style and approach is a good fit for teens and young adults who may be dealing with challenges of life, pressure, school and social concerns, peer relationships issues, life transitions, and adjustments. This often shows up as depression, anxiety, and stress.
I work to help my clients talk to me about anything and I pride myself in listening without judgement and creating a safe environment. My communication style is calm, accommodating, and personable with a little fun! I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything, and I pride myself on my ability to listen without judgment.
