People living with marginalized identities can feel disconnected from the power of choice and free will. Especially in a world that feels difficult to been seen, accepted and heard in systems of injustice. We tend to feel pressure to shrink or disappear but the best justice is self-acceptance, love and empowerment. I enjoy helping people people find their assertive voice, inner strengths and positive self to improve their relationships with others and themselves. My clinical focus includes Anxiety disorders, acute and complex trauma including childhood and organized religious harm, navigating sexual and gender identity.
I utilize a Psychodynamic informed lens with a humanistic approach to explore how past adverse experiences impact barriers to healing with insight, self-agency and change. Integrative holistic interventions include Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy for creating new positive experiential connections to your meaningful sense of self.
I am committed to helping anyone learn how to thrive as the best person they can based on one's strengths, lived experiences and challenges. Therapy can provide a space to learn how to integrate challenges into victories and see our strengths in the primary reflection of ourselves. Lastly, it’s OK if the process isn’t perfect, we just have to see it through.

What Would Queer Jesus Do?™

What Would Queer Jesus Do™ is a peer support group designed to build community for BIPOC folks and white allies who are LGBTQ+ and were raised in Christianity. Whether your connection to Christianity is severed, intact, or something in between, WWQJD™ is a space to explore what faith and spirituality can look like when allowed to be truly inclusive and expansive, coming back to the question “What would a Queer Jesus do?” Through peer support, storytelling, and a liberation lens, WWQJD™ aims to foster trust and curious exploration within a community-minded setting for group members.
