Hello! My name is Mya, and I am happy to see you beginning the search and taking the first step in your healing journey through counseling. I like to say that my approach is person-centered at my core, meaning that our time together will always rely on genuineness, empathy, and our therapeutic relationship. I’m here to walk beside you with respect and care as you navigate healing, growth, and the values that matter most to you.
In my practice, I have a special interest in working with women in particular who struggle with codependency, self-esteem, and boundary concerns, as well as neurodivergent individuals or those who identify as LGBTQIA+. I also have experience working with couples struggling with coparenting, communication, reconnection, and substance use concerns.
