The goal of my practice is to improve the quality of life of my clients and assist them reach their full potential and personal goals. Specializing in family and couple therapy. I also specialize in depression and anxiety. The ideal client will be dedicated to their own treatment and have a strong desire to feel better. Together with my client we work as a team to achieve the therapeutic goals and make life worth living and enjoying. I have been working in mental health for over a decade and it is my greatest passion in life.

My personal philosophy in life is that you can do anything you set your mind to when you have the support and faith to spur you forward. Without support or a belief system, I believe it’s harder if not impossible to be a better/matured version of yourself. If you have felt stuck or felt unmotivated by life's present challenges or past hurts and pains or just overwhelmed by it all, You have a place to find that comfort, guidance, and solutions, where it was believed there, were not.

I strive to create an open and comfortable environment where individuals can feel safe to be in touch with their inner experiences. I believe we all have the ability to lead meaningful, satisfying lives, and with the right focus and support, it is always within reach. I strive to help my clients find the goodness in their own lives, though often it may be hard and confusing. It is my greatest hope and pleasure to be a supporter, to help people navigate their way through relationships and challenges, allowing them to live life in a meaningful way.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in the field for over 20 years. I specialize in working with those who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse and family conflict. You are not alone, we are all in this together.

It has been said that "when it rains it pours" and at some point in everyone's lives they will believe wholeheartedly in that statement. For some, it may feel like they were born in the storm and have never found a way to get out of the rain. For others it may be a persistent drizzle, never a full downpour but never a break either. And for some, it may be the first time they've ever seen rain. No matter which is true, when the rain comes everyone hopes they will have a way to stay dry, be it a sturdy umbrella or a cozy shelter, but that is not always the case. Reaching out for help is another way to get out of the rain.

Life is unpredictable and can feel difficult to manage. It can feel like there is nobody to confide in resulting in feeling completely alone as if there is no light at the end of the tunnel. We all have a story to tell and our story is what makes us unique, but it does not define who we are. No matter what our story is there is always an opportunity to achieve the life we envision for ourselves. Therapy can help to provide the comfort, reassurance, and support to grow in the ways that we desire. Together we will work through challenges you’re facing by learning how to deal with these obstacles while exploring your true self.

Together, we will explore past experiences, including family dynamics and your early life, in addition to thoughts, feelings, and current patterns of behavior to provide insight into how you can better cope with issues impacting you now. As a Psychotherapist, I specialize in management of Trauma/PTSD, Anxiety, Life Transitions, Relationship Issues, Depression and Personality Disorders. I believe that a variety of treatment approaches are needed to best serve each client. I take a psychoanalytic and eclectic approach, and practice Psychotherapy informed by concepts of Cognitive Processing Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. My role is to be both a "coach" and supporter.
