About
Now 100% ZOOM teletherapy counseling!! I am here to work with you to develop resilience against anxiety, depression---and any other painful or distressing issue. I am hoping for you to have a happy, creative, and productive life in a world full of challenges. Many patients need to verbalize their fears to be able to look at their situation from multiple perspectives. You can face the irrational aspects of worrisome thoughts. We can consider your prior coping mechanisms, to be replaced by more adaptive coping tools. Let's think of your life today and forward, accepting yourself more, and understanding how to deal with others.
I have been assisting patients--individuals, couples, and families--in healing for 30+ years. Mine is an holistic approach to psychotherapy, appreciating the connection between the mind, body, and spirit. I support clients in creating holistic choices and changes to enhance their mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well being.
We will be working on stress management, skill development, reality testing, self regulation, sustaining gains, strengthening your support systems, and visualizing what lies ahead. An end goal is to identify positive reasons to live fully. "Everyone has a turn sometime; now may be your turn." (Milton Erickson, MD Hypnotist)
