For over 30 years, I have committed my work to healing the personal and relational damage caused by substance abuse and addiction, emotional disorders, and relational discord. I draw on multiple treatment approaches - particularly systems theory, relapse prevention training, cognitive-affective-behavioral theory, and brief solution-focused theory - in restoring one's dignity and worth.

The counselors at HOPE - Child and Family Counseling/Adolescent and Adult Therapy specialize in therapy to promote emotional healing across the lifespan. Hello! Thanks for dropping in. I enjoy working with children, teens and adults. We all have life experiences that can sometimes be a struggle. I have worked with people desiring to manage their difficulties with symptoms of Depression, Bipolar Disporder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Conduct Disorder just to name a few. I feel grateful to be able to walk alongside others while they explore and examine more about themselves and focus on achieving their goals and dreams.

I see clients in a well diverse population, from children 3 years old to adults 75 years old. I specialize in Mental Health and Addiction counseling, however work well with children and teens. I support the LGBTQ+ community. I have been seen in some movies in the indie film world and am working on my next on screen performance every day. I have sold several paintings in the Chicagoland area. I like to build things for around the house, most notably two different bird houses equipped with Ring camera's in order to see what is going on inside the houses. I am a creative fun-loving person that likes to help others.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing in the Rockford, IL and Beloit, WI areas for 20 years. My approach with providing services to adolescents, adults, couples and families is relaxed, compassionate and non-judgmental. I have many years of experience assisting individuals feeling troubled with anxiety, depression, grief & loss, anger & irritability, relationship problems, problems faced within a blended family and traumatic experiences. For several years I have provided group therapy for individuals struggling with social anxiety and for women struggling with anger.

Connor Novack is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received his Master’s in Social Work in 2018. For the past six years, he worked with adults and youth in the Milwaukee area working towards a variety of goals related to overall well-being. Connor is particularly experienced in working with young adults who are making that transition from adolescence and high school into the adult world, but enjoys providing support around all major life changes, whether it is a new job, loss of a loved one, or relationship difficulties.

Pat is a licensed clinical social worker who has provided mental health services including the evaluation and treatment of individuals, couples and families since 1983. Her areas of experience and expertise include the diagnosis and treatment of depression, anxiety, panic disorder, mood disorder, grief/loss, and stress/anger management. Pat's additional areas of specialty include marital therapy, separation/divorce adjustment, blended family conflicts, women's issues, gay/lesbian issues and dependent relationships.
