i work with clients ages 10and over but primarily adults with a widevarietyof mood,anxiety,obsessive compulsive.grief,chronic pain and illness,personality disorders.anger and stressmanagement,grief issues,bipolar disorder,ADHD.couples therapy.With all of my clients I focus on identifying their distressing dysfunctional symptoms,their negative thoughts that lead to debilitating emotions and behaviors,and teaching my clients positive coping skills such as emotional deregulation,interpersonal effectiveness,staying in the present,and learning distress tolerance skills,I perform family,individal,and couples therapy focusing on the treatment of adolescents as well as adult clients to maximize their potential.

Ms. Zayani is a NYS licensed social worker with over 25 years experience specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Ms. Zayani is a certified clinical trauma professional and has certifications in a variety of evidenced based treatments including play therapy, DBT, and CBT. She employs a broad range of interventions, based upon clinical presentation, and works in our Carmel and Millbrook locations.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience helping people with relationship problems, anxiety and depression, child and teen topics, eating disorders, traumas, self-esteem and social issues. I believe that life's challenges are opportunities for personal growth. I have over 25 years experience ranging from working with children as young as four to senior citizens. From the field of education I am very experienced with school related situations. I have worked in the field of education for more than 25 years. I am also very seasoned and experienced in marital and couples counseling.
