As a social worker I take a hollistic approach to helping clients with a primary focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. After a 40 year career in both the health and mental health fields I now exclusively devote my time to a private practice helping people with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and various mental health issues. I work with clients with substance abuse issues who are already involved in a recovery program. I am noted for having a warm and supportive approach and believe that humor is a part of healing.

I love working with individuals-females only, couples, including gay and lesbian and families. I also enjoy treating people who have bipolar disorder, autistic spectrum disorders, depression, PTSD and anxiety. Prior to that, I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Women's Studies from Kean University. I have experience both in private practice as a therapist as well as mental health services as a counselor.
