My ideal client is prepared to initiate changes in their life to promote wellness. They are prepared to process internal and external contributors to their mood, discuss options for improvement, and practice healthier skills that will assist in achieving their personal goals. My ideal client is internally motivated and desires emotional balance from concerns such as anxiety, depression, impaired self-esteem, trauma, and interpersonal conflict. They arrive to treatment with goals in mind, and will actively work to experience relief of distressing symptoms.

Clients struggling with anxiety, depression, BPD, trauma, relationship issues are areas I have much experience addressing.

My ideal client may have a difficult time identifying their emotions and feeling like they are not “allowed” to feel emotions. My ideal client may tend to intellectualize or overthink their experiences. This person may work hard to maintain a high standard that is often unrealistic. My ideal client may have a history of depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and chronic illness. The client’s goal is to learn to understand how they feel and give themselves permission to feel the way they do. This client recognizes that they are feeling overwhelmed, resentful, anxious, frustrated, sad, angry and they are looking for a change.

I enjoy working with others struggling with anxiety, ADHD, depression, confidence, spirituality, relationship issues, and self-worth. I often find myself working with those who are learning how to honor their intuition and develop their true and higher selves. I also enjoy working with clients who are open to alternative therapies. I am a heart-centered and strengths-based therapist who meets clients where they are in life and strives to provide a nurturing environment to allow my clients to grow into the best versions of themselves.

It is not easy to start therapy treatment. An ideal client is a person that, even through all the fears, doubts and questions, takes the first step to start treatment and gives a chance to explore a new technique to find better balance in their life. There could be setbacks in the process but the most important thing is to stay constant. The client is willing to work in their goals and implement skills learned in every session. Also, to ask questions needed, even if they feel afraid, in order to be able to communicate with their therapist in a honest way.

Dr. Jennifer Lee is a Psychologist in New Hampshire who has been practicing since 2023. Dr. Lee earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University in NYC. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship in Adult Neuropsychology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Dr. Lee has specialized training in the cognitive evaluation of adults with medical conditions such as dementias, movement disorders (including pre- and post- DBS), epilepsy (including pre- and post-surgical), stroke, multiple sclerosis, cancer, head injuries as well as ADHD and other psychiatric conditions.

Ivy uses cognitive behavioral therapy to explore the relationship between thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. Her areas of specialty include: anxiety associated with vocational, familial, and relational stress; life changes, including aging, retirement, divorce, marriage, mixing families, and trauma; panic disorders, depression, LGBTQ+, neurodiversity, and adjustment disorders. In addition to longterm therapy, Ivy can also help clients clarify current interpersonal issues, conflicts, or situations, and assist in identifying coping strategies using solutionoriented psychotherapy.

My ideal client is the client that has an idea of what they want in life but is overwhelmed with life stressors such as anxiety and depression. This client need a safe space to explore their life options and the triggers that are causing negative thinking patterns, self-doubt and low self-confidence. This client need support, encouragement and a non-judgmental approach to achieve their goals.

I am a seasoned psychologist who combines contemporary thinking with the wisdom of experience. I treat individuals and couples with psychological and behavioral concerns such as anxiety, depression, phobias, stress-related illness, and coping with medical illness.

I'm not sure I believe in an Ideal client; I think all clients are Ideal, no matter their life circumstances. Life is like a rollercoaster, and when you're going down, you may need someone to be there and help talk you through it. However, If I had to choose, it would be a client having difficulty with self-esteem, self-worth, and depressive symptoms and needing additional assistance building coping skills but expressing readiness to change.

Meredith Prescott is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts with ten years of experience. She earned her Master in Social Work from Salem State University. Meredith believes in a treatment philosophy that is person-centered, holistic, and trauma informed. In her spare time, Meredith enjoys yoga, running, being outdoors, and traveling with family.

I presently am unable to take new clients. I hope this will change in the near future as the pandemic slows down. My apologies. I have over 40 years of clinical experience. I specialize in working with adult individuals or couples, and children/teenagers/young adults with their families.

Rebecca Warburton is a Psychologist in Massachusetts who has been practicing since 2002. She has a BA from the University of Vermont, an MA from Boston College, and a PsyD from Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. Rebecca provides evidenced-based therapy including CBT, DBT, and ERP. Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys cooking, reading, listening to music, exercising, and hanging out with friends.

I am a licensed mental health counselor and licensed marriage and therapy therapist. I have counseled individuals and couples for 40 years. I bring a great depth and breadth of expertise to my work and a practical approach. I help clients learn about themselves and practice radical self-acceptance. I received a Ph.D. in Psychology at Saybrook Institute in San Francisco and a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology at Antioch New England University. I wrote Relationship Transformation: How to Have Your Cake and Eat It Too with my wife, Mary Ellen.

Celine De Santis is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who has been practicing in the field of mental health for over 30 years. Her clientele includes both children, teens, and adults who are suffering from the negative effects of chronic stress, anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, PTSD, phobias, grief, bereavement, and more. Celine earned her Master's degree in Social Work from Simmons University. Her treatment focuses on individual, family, group, and play therapy approaches. She began her work as a mental health professional in addiction treatment.

Christine Burgess is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who has 15 years of experience working with adolescents, young adults, middle-aged people, and older clients who are suffering from depression, anxiety, and codependence, as well as the consequences of trauma, divorce, life transitions, and relationship troubles. Christine completed her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology at Westfield State University and her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Boston College.

I am a substance abuse and mental health counselor, who genuinely enjoys working with people. I believe almost all people who suffer with an addiction have an underlying mental health issue, trauma, depression, anxiety and low self esteem. I understand that addiction renders you powerless and in many cases extreme embarrassment. Mental health issues can be equally disabling and embarrassing. I can help you, no shame, embarrassment, just understanding and guidance as you move along your path of recovery. In some cases medication may be recommended and I work with three established Nurse Practitioners who accept referrals.

Lacy Vitko is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts who has been practicing since 2023. She has a BA in Studio, Akron, OH and an MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology and Art Therapy, Naropa University, Boulder, CO. Prior to joining LifeStance Lacy worked in non-profit program development, outpatient community mental health, and inpatient substance use treatment. Lacy offers individualized treatment informed by evidence-based practices including art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and motivational interviewing.

I approach my clients collaboratively with a warm, accepting and compassionate attitude. I believe developing a trusting relationship is the most effective foundation to approach the hardships and mind habits we all face in life. I use specific CBT and Mindfulness skills to help my clients reduce symptoms and feel better soon. Anxiety, obsessiveness and depressed feelings can be significantly reduced while I teach clients how to govern the mind, creating new habits and strategies. As a practitioner of mindfulness who has attended many Insight Meditation retreats, I can share with you the benefits of attention from both personal and professional experience.
