Michael Russell II is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois. Michael believes that an optimum level of health can be reached through therapeutic therapies that are customized towards an individual’s goals in life. In my practice I see adolescents and adults. I view therapy as a place where you can more fully understand yourself and your relationships and therefore be empowered to make better choices in your life. My style is informed by dynamically oriented and relational therapy. Regardless of theory, the most important part of the process is building a relationship built on trust and safety. Our emphasis is childhood mood and behavioral disorders, as well as learning difficulties. We perform psychoeducational evaluations for possible LD/ADHD; we also treat depression, anxiety, and behavioral problems in a non-medical, family-based context.

I work with outpatients, mostly children but some adults. We have treated both Adults and children with a specialty intervention called neurofeedback. Our target clients are neurodevelopmentally delayed such as autism, learning disabilities, and other neurologically impaired clientele. We have been highly successful treating attention deficit disorder without medication with a 90% success rate. We have also treated with success those with cognitive impairment due to head injuries, stroke, and have been particularly effective in treating anxiety disorder.

As a highly-experienced clinical psychologist I have worked with a wide spectrum of therapy and evaluation issues within my private practice and multiple other treatment settings. I am currently a LSW and PsyD Clinical Psychology Doctoral Candidate. Dr. Daniels is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, who specializes in women’s mental health concerns. In particular, Dr. Daniels utilizes evidence-based psychotherapies in working with women struggling with many life difficulties ranging from depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, grief and loss, challenging life transitions, as well as peri and postnatal mental health, infertility, pregnancy loss, and parenting. Dr. Daniels also has a specialization in neuropsychological assessment for the purpose of diagnostic clarification, decisional capacity, and to develop appropriate treatment recommendations.

I am a South Asian queer therapist who is focused on creating an authentic space for you to heal and grow.  As a second-generation immigrant, I understand the stigma and trepidation that comes with getting mental healthcare. I have developed programs and training opportunities for organizations to learn how to use willingness and sitting with discomfort to take actions toward the value path. I have led dozens of groups, trainings, and has supervised numerous psychologists in training.
