Although I try to be more solution focused and not breed long-term dependency, I have several clients who have been coming for a few years and act as a life coach to help them navigate their lives more effectively. I have been in the mental health field for over 25 years, receiving my MSW from Indiana University Northwest School of Social Work. I am currently in my fifteenth year of providing neuropsychological assessment services throughout the state of Florida. I accept referrals from many physicians and case managers. However, often, family members concerned about the functioning of parents with memory issues, other family members with brain injuries, or children with learning and/or behavioral difficulties contact me directly to arrange an evaluation. Once an evaluation is completed, interventions are implemented to facilitate improved functioning. Fortunately, many insurance carriers including Medicare will pay for the services.
