Through this approach individuals are able to shift out of old patterning, self-limiting beliefs, thoughts, and habits. I am able to help one get to the deeper core issues that are blocking them from living a full and happy life.

Hello, I'm Maggie Dollahan! As a psychotherapist with LifeStance Health, I embrace a compassionate and inclusive approach. I believe that clients are not problems to be fixed, but rather human beings deserving of self-understanding and support from their communities. In practice I draw from a wide range of approaches, employing techniques from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based approaches, and the feminist perspective.

Amy Weidert is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin who has been practicing since 2007. She completed her Undergraduate work at UW Madison in Sociology and received her Graduate Degree in Counseling from UW Whitewater. Amy has 16 years of experience working as a school counselor with middle and high school students and uses Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness techniques, and psychoeducation to help students understand themselves better, work through trauma, and support them in reaching their personal goals.

Sam (he/they), a transplant from New Jersey, is a recent graduate from Edgewood College's Marriage and Family Therapy program. Sam works with a wide variety of clients and concerns, with a particular emphasis on trauma (be it personal, intergenerational/familial, or cultural), identity, spirituality, death & dying, grief, family systems, and the ways in which our lives are impacted by the larger social systems and institutions around us. Sam is also engaged in understanding his own situatedness within these systems and their foundations in racism, sexism, capitalism, patriarchy, heteronormitivity, abilism, and phobias of all sorts.

As a creative person herself, Karyn naturally introduces creativity into her work with clients. With a strong interest in helping individuals struggling with addiction and trauma, she attends closely to each individual to discern how best to be of service. Responsive to your particular needs and sensitivities, she will adapt her approach to suit your concerns and your particular style of interacting with change. Karyn works from a client-centered approach, applying techniques based on your presenting concerns and individual needs.

Petrovnia Charles is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Wisconsin who has been practicing since 2014. Petrovnia helps clients by being trauma-trained with a focus on intersectionalities. Outside of work, Petrovnia enjoys gardening, line dancing, writing poetry, cooking, playing piano, and American Sign Language (ASL).

Leslie Golden provides individual psychotherapy to adults with an emphasis on exploration, collaboration, and discovery. She addresses a broad range of issues including depression, anxiety, identity, women's issues, interpersonal difficulties, life transitions, and chronic pain and other medical challenges. Leslie works with her patients from a psychodynamic lens to help identify the powerful forces that shape their lives and are often hiding in plain sight.

Jen Burkel welcomes the opportunity to share her authentic, compassionate, and thoughtful approach to the work of assisting clients in finding their path. She sees therapy as a partnership in discovering each individual's truth. Jen believes that through our struggles we can create meaning and thereby transform into stronger, more resilient versions of ourselves. Jen blends a playful spirit with deep compassion to guide people to experience greater acceptance and joy in their lives. Jen has spent the last 20 + years helping people in our community.
