If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, AODA issues, I am here to support those who are struggling with substance abuse issues and mental health issues. I specialize in helping people identify their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and how to make positive changes in their lives by taking responsibility for them. I enjoy guiding and supporting the difficult process one takes as they discover their true potential and trust the process of healing.

Recovery from a substance use disorder is, for many who suffer from it, an almost impossible & unattainable dream; yet so many individuals continue to wish for it. Our world, our country, our state, and our community continues to be ravaged from this disease; like everywhere else in our world right now. There is hope though! What if I told you that recovery is possible! It is attainable! Not only that, but you don't have to figure it out on your own! Having a substance use disorder affects every aspect of your life; which means you will need to make changes in every aspect of your life & I can help you in that journey.

The hardest part about therapy is having to deal with those thoughts, feelings, and memories we've been pushing aside for so long. What makes it even harder, are our fears of being judged for who we are, what we've gone through, or how we've acted. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable being your true self. I do this by showing you genuine compassion, empathy, and understanding as we work through the tougher stuff. As such, I work with children, teens, families, and adults whose social, academic/work, behavioral, physical, and/or emotional well-being has been negatively impacted by ongoing mental health struggles.

Providing therapy and working to help patients is my lifelong passion. I take a strength based and trauma informed approach while working with patients who have a wide variety of mental health concerns. I believe therapy is a collaborative process and I use an interdisciplinary approach to therapy and tailor it to each client’s unique needs. In practice, I am direct, solution-focused, and passionate in assisting patients in meeting their goals.

I work with children, adolescents and adults. Ages 6+ with issues include Anxiety, Panics, Depression, ADD/ADHD, ODD, Anger, Explosive Anger, OCD, Tics, Tourettes, Autism, sleep difficulties, pain, Fibromyalgia, migraines, GI issues, IBS, Brain Gut, CVS, Hypertension. I work with clients according their individual and unique needs using the therapeutic approaches that fits those needs. I highly respect their values and beliefs. I teach and train them to learn good coping skills to manage and have control over their difficulties.

As a Licensed Psychologist, I offer counseling sessions for adults, children, couples, and families.
