I approach the therapeutic relationship with a deep conviction and trust in the process. I deeply engage and connect with clients on a heart, mind, and body level, rather than through the lens of a diagnosis or label they may have acquired along the way. I believe that each person is their own expert. Cultivating better contact with oneself, and learning to be more compassionate and supportive towards self is foundational for the therapeutic process I hold and facilitate. I enjoy working with a diverse group of clientele, especially those with anxiety, depression, and relational disruptions.
I feel honored when I'm invited to journey into a client's internal world, and explore their vastness. I recognize that each of us has the part within that remains whole through all circumstances. I hold a wide lens that is grounded in Family Constellations where all belong, along with Gestalt Therapy which focuses on the here and now.
I am a licensed clinical social worker, certified in Gestalt Therapy, and find this modality extremely helpful, especially when a client is feeling stuck. I use the Geno-Charting process which provides me with an ability to map out family systems, and I am trauma informed, and trained in EMDR.
