It's easy to feel disconnected in modern life. This manifests in a variety of ways: dissatisfaction, anxiety, addiction or insomnia. Perhaps you struggle to experience the pleasure of connection. Examining capacity for relationship with self and others while acknowledging the interdependence of all life can be helpful in this process. I specialize in working with adults who have experienced relational trauma and want a safe container to explore yoked integrity and respect. I encourage you to come with all of your parts. To quote Audre Lorde, “Imposed silence about any area of our lives is a tool for separation and powerlessness.”

My work with you will always be solution and goal focused and we will keep track of your success as we work.
In my practice, we hold the premise that every person has an innate capacity for healing and unique qualities that have helped them navigate or even survive life. These qualities are called "creative adjustments." However, there can come a time when these creative adjustments become less effective or ineffective. It is here, that we aim to help one achieve healing and relief from pain and discomfort. Our primary work is with children aged 0-18 years and their parents. Individual adults and parents to be are welcome!

I am experienced in providing mental health and/or addiction counseling services for adolescents and adults. If you are experiencing deep pain, working through transitions, or looking for growth and insight, I would like to help. We are all born whole and complete, yet experiences, relationships, and hurts lead us to believe we are not. Whether your suffering is caused by emotional, physical, or spiritual distress, you are not alone and you can heal. My desire as a therapist is to help you understand and love yourself as you are, while fostering personal growth and holistic wellness. In doing so, we explore values, fears, and shields. We explore the areas you want to show up in and what obstacles lie in the way.
I am a relationally focused counselor who believes that true healing and change occurs when there is a strong therapeutic relationship. I view my role as counselor as not only a source of support but also, an objective guide to help you see patterns, make connections, and address thoughts and behaviors that are contributing to your current emotional state and symptoms. It is often difficult for us to see these things for ourselves and having a safe, supportive place to explore our emotional experiences, thoughts, and behaviors can be incredibly beneficial.
My perspective involves connecting our minds, bodies, and emotions to increase awareness towards areas of our lives where we may feel stuck, in conflict, overwhelmed, or shut off. I believe that when we can more clearly see these patterns and responses, we develop a deeper self-awareness and a sense that we have more control than we may realize. With this knowledge, my hope is to support you in feeling more connected, compassionate, and accepting towards all parts of yourself.
We offer an environment in which you will be free from judgment, fully accepted, and deeply engaged. Working from a primarily somatic perspective, we will meet you where you are, and address the ways in which you are "stuck.” The aim, as we see it, is to guide you in finding your flow, so that you can live life with greater ease, pleasure and joy. We work with a wide range of issues, including anxiety and depression, trauma, personality disorders, PTSD, relationship and sexuality issues, and/or meeting personal goals. All ages are welcome. Sessions are in person and on-line.
Healing is the process of becoming well again. I help my clients heal through overcoming life’s challenges and regaining the strength required to move forward. I am dedicated to helping and empowering others. I provide psychoeducation and therapeutic advocacy, delivering well-rounded support to all individuals effected by the various struggles of life. Change is scary and, at times, difficult; however it is possible and effective in developing a happier, healthier you.
I have come to understand that much of our pain comes from things that strain or break our connection to others or that interfere with achieving our goals. I’m guessing if you’re reading this, you are in a hard spot in your life. It will get better. In therapy, you will learn more about yourself and how your past is adversely shaping your today. I will bring my experience and training to help in the process of overcoming your roadblocks to happiness.
I am a transracial adoptee born in Bolivia and raised in a primarily Italian family in Northern New Jersey. My Bachelor's degree is from Mount Holyoke College in 2007. I then served a year in Americorps' City Year-New York where I led a team through full-time community service in an elementary school in Harlem. I also worked with pregnant and parenting teens in a foster care group home. I earned my Master's of Science in Social Work in 2011 from Columbia University, and in 2014 I became a trauma focused therapist in both the Bozeman and Livingston schools. I love connecting with others in the sharing of their stories.
Individuals seeking my therapeutic support often experience varying degrees of distress associated with trauma(s), stress, anxiety, depression, and/or relationship struggles. I provide a secure and nonjudgmental space to support each person's innate capacity for growth, healing, wellness, and satisfaction in their lives. Through a collaborative therapeutic relationship of trust, acceptance, and understanding, I support each person's capability to obtain their specific goals and objectives. This process promotes further opportunities to transform personal insights into adaptive change within each individual's life and relationships.
