I utilize a person-centered approach and practice various evidence-based techniques such as, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing,
Acceptance
and Commitment Therapy (
ACT
), and Solutions Focused Therapy.
My experience is diversified with a wide variety of populations and settings including adults with chronic illnesses in hospitals, homeless children and their families, and expecting and postpartum mothers in an outpatient women’s health clinic. I have a colorful resume that has deeply influenced my ability to connect and relate to my clients that present with a multitude of backgrounds and dilemmas such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, bereavement, and trauma. My ideal client is someone who is motivated and receptive to change and eager to work together to improve their circumstances.
