I seek to make my office a place of refuge, where you can be seen and heard without judgement. It brings me great joy to walk alongside people in their journey towards healing. I desire for my clients to get to the place where nothing is hindering their ability to live, play, and love well. EMDR is one of my favorite modalities to use in counseling. I believe it offers a different approach than traditional talk therapy that can help you get "unstuck" from negative thoughts or beliefs. I am licensed in Mississippi with over 10 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, depression, & coping with life changes. I am also an LGBTQ+ advocate and ally. I believe that you are the expert on your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

Counseling others has been my passion for the past 25 years. My joy and fulfillment comes from helping others increase the quality of their life. I am drawn to helping those who suffer with depression and anxiety, low self esteem, and symptoms of trauma and abuse. I believe everyone deserves to live a healthy and meaningful life no matter what mistakes they have made in the past. I also believe that it is in the worst situations that we discover our strengths and abilities.

I am at my best when helping people work through issues associated with grief, depression, anxiety, addiction, as well as marriage and relationship struggles. Working through some of the more uniquely modern struggles, such as screen and pornography addiction is also a focus of my practice. I also love pre-marital counseling.
