In my practice I work with two groups of people, couples and Men/Adolescent Boys. When working with couples we focus on building trust and safety while exploring past hurts, marital conflict, parenting struggles, resentment, affairs and addiction. I also enjoy working with couples who are newly approaching marriage with pre-marital counseling. When working with Men/Adolescent boys we explore grief and loss, life transitions, anxiety relationships, betrayal, depression, ADD/ADHD, personal failure, divorce, sexual struggles, infidelity, pornography, drugs and alcohol addiction.
Building safety for my clients is key to helping them explore the underlying meaning and emotions that often trap us in unwanted behaviors or unhealthy patterns of relating to others. My goal is to give you a voice for the parts of your life that are paralyzing or confusing.
